Postdoctoral Fellowship (Global Synthesis of Small-Scale Fisheries Knowledge)

 

TBTI is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow who will be based in the DSCN1632Department of Geography at Memorial University (St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada). The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for knowledge synthesis of research on small-scale fisheries conducted within the TBTI project, for integrating research into policy and for disseminating project findings to wide audience, including policy makers and community groups. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with renowned fisheries researchers around the world.

The application deadline is January 31, 2014 and the fellowship starts with April 1, 2014.  The fellowship is for one year, with a possibility of another year renewal. The amount of the fellowship is $40,000 per year (inclusive of benefits), with opportunities to travel.
