The Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) (www.cess.ac.in) has taken up the responsibility to co-ordinate TBTI’s activities in Asia and Oceania region along with the Coastal Development Centre, Kasetsart University (http://cdc.fish.ku.ac.th/), Thailand. As part of this research network activities, the CESS is hosting a three-day international conference on SSF development from the 10th to 13th December, 2013 in Hyderabad, India. The conference is jointly organized with the Indian Society of Agriculture Marketing (ISAM) (www.agrilmktg.org), Fisheries Management Resource Centre (Fish MARC), Trivandrum and the Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE). The main focus of the conference is:
1) production and marketing;
2) sustainability;
3) well-being;
4) governance.
Publication plan: CESS will publish the conference proceedings. Later selected articles will be brought out by an international publisher in the form of an edited book. Please submitted to Dr. Jyothis Sathyapalan, Convenor of the Conference Committee, CESS, (email: fisheries@cess.ac.in):
- an abstract (250 words) for no later than July 31, 2013;
- a full paper (Maximum 8000 words) for no later than October 21, 2013.
Abstract acceptance will be communicated to participants by the 20th August, 2013.
