Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative in Somalia and the technical supervision of the Project Manager, FAO Fisheries Sector, the Fisheries intern FAO Somalia will:
.
- Support the design and implementation of projects within the FAO Somalia fisheries sector;
- Make substantive technical input for developing fisheries-related project proposals;
- Assist development of project proposals to be presented to donors;
- Support the preparation of reports and other technical documents as required;
- Conduct Missions into Somalia and worked with fishermen’s and fisherwomen’s groups and other community representatives;
- Prepare technical progress reports and other documents as required;
- Perform other related duties and activities within the Sector and wider FAO office as required
