FAO is offering a position of Junior Professional Officer in small-scale fisheries in the Subregional Office for the Pacific. FAO's Subregional Office for the Pacific is responsible for developing, promoting, overseeing and implementing agreed strategies for addressing subregional food, agriculture and rural development priorities. It develops and maintains relations with Pacific institutions.
The post is located in the Multi-disciplinary Team of the Subregional Office for the Pacific. Junior Professional Officer would provide monitoring, planning, formulation, implementation and technical support of programmes and activities in the field of enhanced responsible coastal fisheries in the framework of FAO’s Common Vision for Sustainable Food and Agriculture.
