The Transdisciplinary Research Capacity Building in Small Scale Fisheries Workshop was held during the 2nd World Small Scale Fisheries Congress (2WSFC) in Merida, Mexico, 2014. The purpose of the workshop was to lay the foundation for future work in the development of the transdisciplinary fisheries course as well as to discuss lessons learned from various capacity development initiatives around the world.
